BAWA Fundraisers

The Boyertown Area Wrestling Association (BAWA) has several fundraisers throughout the year to help raise money to support wrestling at all levels in the Boyertown community. Below are some of the more recent fundraisers.

AmazonSmile | RaiseRight Gift Cards

NEW for 2022: AmazonSmile!

Since so many of us use Amazon throughout the year, BAWA has decided to use AmazonSmile to raise money for our wrestlers. The program offers the same advantages as Amazon. To get started, login and connect your current Amazon account to AmazonSmile at smile.amazon.com. Select Boyertown Area Wrestling Association as your charitable organization. Each time you shop, use smile.amazon.comand Amazon will give a portion of your purchase to BAWA. See below for some more information about the program.

What is AmazonSmile?
AmazonSmile is a simple way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you. AmazonSmile is available at smile.amazon.com on your web browser and can be activated in the Amazon Shopping app for iOS and Android phones. When you shop with AmazonSmile, you'll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added benefit that AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the charitable organization of your choice. You can choose from over one million organizations to support.

Can I use my existing Amazon.com account on AmazonSmile?
Yes, you use the same account on Amazon.com and AmazonSmile. Your shopping cart, Wish List, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings are also the same.

How do I shop with AmazonSmile?
To use AmazonSmile, simply go to smile.amazon.com on your web browser or activate AmazonSmile in the Amazon Shopping app on your iOS or Android phone within the Settings or Programs & Features menu. On your web browser, you can add a bookmark to smile.amazon.com to make it even easier to return and start your shopping with AmazonSmile.

How do I select a charitable organization to support with AmazonSmile?
On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you will be prompted to select a charitable organization to receive donations from your future eligible AmazonSmile purchases. Please select Boyertown Area Wrestling Association. We will remember your selected charity whenever you shop at or with AmazonSmile activated in the Amazon Shopping app, and then every eligible purchase you make through AmazonSmile will result in a donation for your selected charity. AmazonSmile will occasionally contact you about donation amounts disbursed to your chosen charity or about the program.

Buy gift cards from hundreds of retailers and BAWA gets a percentage!

This might be easiest fundraiser ever! BAWA has setup a fundraiser where you can buy gift cards from over 100 top name stores, restaurants, and more and a donation will be made to BAWA for a percentage of each purchase.

There are two ways to participate: online and through the mail.

If you wish to order the cards via the mail, just fill out the RaiseRight Gift Card Family Order form and send it to Wendy Miller, 39 Kay Street, Boyertown, PA 19512 with a check payable to BAWA. Cards ordered this way will be sent to Wendy and she contact you for delivery.

If you wish to order the cards online, simply go to www.raiseright.com and click to the "Sign Up" button at the top of the page. You will be asked to enter the Enrollment Code which is 1LF3581F6184L for BAWA. You will also be asked to establish a user ID and password. When you are asked for student name, please put your wrestler(s) name(s). Where you are asked for Classroom/Group, please indicate if your wrestler is with BYWC, MS East, MS West, or BASH. Follow the steps for setting up payment for your orders and then shop away!
